Help in Animal Cruelty Case

Dear Adopters and Friends:
In February 2008 I was asked to help with a cruelty/neglect case in a county near here (Iowa). Long story short a woman named Michele Kinzner was portraying herself as a legit Rescue-called Waggin Tails and calling herself a No Kill shelter. She is a squatter (lives in places, never pays, trashes the place) and a scammer and moves on when the heat gets on her. She has involved her teenage children as well.
In reality she was starving the animals there.
A local small rescue group in the same town became involved and began to feed the animals they saw, they were standing in about a foot of feces and urine and were starving.
The police were alerted as was the county attorney, board of supervisors, media, etc etc etc. The police did not see a problem and did nothing, many times just calling her versus going out there and taking her word she was caring for them.
It is now 3 1/2 months later and still no charges have been filed and it doesn’t appear there will be though the law was blatantly broken, and the woman has skipped town (we know where she is) now.
Common citizens going out to feed and care for the animals have discovered dead dogs and cats all over the place even up in a hay mount left to starve as they could not get down to get away (they must have been put there), 15 in all, (there were over 60 animals, dogs mainly and some cats on this property and none were well cared for) some have been autopsied and malnutrition was the cause out of 6 of the 7, the one was undetermined.
A cat was found in a cage dead, and as recent as last week a cocker was found dead in the house, no water not even in the toilet and a dying cat was rescued.
The police and others have been called by many sharing their concern and outrage, editorials written, etc., and nothing is being done. It has been stated the police would take strays to this woman!
I have retained an attorney out of Des Moines (very difficult to get anyone to do anything when it comes to animals, she is really a godsend) to get done what we can to get some justice for these animals and try and hold all accountable those that allowed this to happen. If the police had done their job there would not have been any animals suffering and dying. After knowing and seeing what I saw I could not just let this one go.
The attorney is Angela Campbell out of Des Moines, Iowa. She is usually $250-300 an hour but is willing to take the case for far far less as she feels this is wrong too.
I think the message needs to be sent win or lose the case that someone cares and will not let this just go away until all comes out and hopefully those accountable will answer for this.
This is the first mass plea I have sent out for myself in the name of animals in my 30 years of rescue work and I’m donating as well.
I am asking for your help too.
Four pictures below, please know some are graphic, but I know to see it will help you understand the reason justice needs to be served and I will not get into all the horror details but want you to know this could not have been much worse, these animals received NO dignity in their life but deserve to have some justice in their death.

If you would like your name included in the case as a concerned party you are welcome to, there is strength in numbers and the more names added, the better for the animals. You would not be called to testify as you have no direct info, but feel if they see many names it will send a strong message.
Many dead animals still lay there waiting for some type of burial - we are trying to get this worked out.

I HAVE READ THE STORY AND SEEN THE PICTURES AND IT IS SUPRISING AT HOW NEGLIGENT THE POLICE ARE ABOUT ANIMALS AND HOW PEOPLE HAVE NO RESPECT WHAT SO EVER FOR THE ANIMALS.THEY THINK THAT THEY CAN ABUSE THEM BECAUSE THEY CANT SAY ANYTHING AND WILL TAKE ANY ABUSE.FIRSTLY ALL THE PEOPLE INVOLVED IN HARMING ANY ANIMALS IN ANY WAY SHOULD BE PUNISHED VERY SEVERELY AND FINED AN ENORMOUS AMOUNT.NO BODY HAS ASKED YOU TO LOVE THEM IF U DONT LIKE THEM BUT THAT DOES NOT GIVE YOU ANY RIGHT TO HURT THEM WHETHER IT IS THIER FAULT OR NOT.LEARN TO RESPECT NOT JUST THE PEOPLE YOU LOVE AND CARE FOR BUT ANYBODY WHO HAS A LIFE BECAUSE THEY ALL HAVE THE RIGHTS TO LIVE NAD YOU ARE NOBODY TO DECIDE THIER DEATH BECAUSE YOU NEVER EVER CREATED THEM.I AM ASHAMED AT THE WAY THE PEOPLE TREAT ANIMALS.I WOULD BE HAPPY TO DONATE,IF SOMEONE COULD MAIL ME ON MY EMAIL ADDRESS,SOME MORE DETAILS ON THIS ISSUE.I WORSHIP ANIMALS NAD ARORE THEIR INNOCENCE AND HOPE THAT MY HELP MAKES A DIFFERENCE TO THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SOULS IN THE WORLD.I TRUST THE PEOPLE I AM WRITING TO SO I HOPE TO BE UPDATED.THANK YOU AND I WILL ALWAYS SUPPORT YOU.TAKE CARE.
this world filled with people that abuse and hurt animals makes me sick…everyone has feelings and animals know what goes on it hurts them too just as if you hurt a person no one has the right to harm anythin or anyone…they dont do any harm why hurt them…?if everyone could just respect life and nature this place would be a better place to live in.i have pets and i love them alot i dont understand how people hurt animals…its just wrong…=(
i cant believe somebody would do this to a living creature.this is why i want to be an animal cop, to try and get the people who do this and stop them.i may be 16 but this has been my dream for the past 3 years.to stop what people do to these poor animals.i wont even hit my dog when he growls or snaps at me.i have never hit an animal and i never plan to.next summer i plan to volunteer at an animal shelter,i may not get payed but i dont care.the money isnt important to me.knowing that i saved an animals life is, i will do my best to do what i can to save them.and i encourage other ppl to do the same.idk how some1 can just sit there and watch this happen and not do anything.i think our new president should make a law or do something about this.idk how some1 can do this,its so wrong and very very sad.everytime i watch the show i feel like crying.theres not much i can do at this age but its my dream to become an animal rescuer and i plan to pursue this dream no matter what it takes.if u care about animals as much as i do then donate money to the nearest animal shelter and save a life.i can guarentee u will feel really good.last year i saved a kitten from drowning and u cant elieve how that made me feel.knowing i can make a difference.i also last year took in a stray dog.the ppl down the street who owned him moved away and abandoned him and that just made me really mad.i could never do that to a living creature.to me animals are just like ppl.they have feelings,emotions and a beating heart.beating and neglecting a dog is just like doing it to a child.iam sure if u saw some1 abusing a child u would stop the person,but if u saw a some1 hitting a dog u most likely wouldnt do anything.next u see an animal and u can see its bones sticking out,stop and feed it.or if u see some1 hittting an animal stop them cuz its just like watching some1 hitting a child.iam sure if u saw a baby and his ribs were showing u would most likely stop and give it food.wouldnt u?so next time u see some1 doing something wrong to an animal stop and do something about it.dont just sit there and watch them do it cuz u will feel like its your fault cuz u let it happen.
It is disgusting how people can treat anybody like that.
The Bible says that man should rule over animal - but God did not say kill everything and eat it and whatever you can’t eat - neglect, starve and beat it.
Animal cruelty is a huge issue all over the world.
In South Africa (where I live) there was recent case of a 12 year old boy raping his dog and setting him on fire afterwards.
These sick people should be publicly whipped and hanged and fed to the sharks.
